The challenge

An industry at an inflection point

The rapid expansion of AI workloads, hyperscale data centers, electrified industry, and the broader low-emissions transition has triggered one of the largest infrastructure build-outs in modern history. $3.3 trillion is being deployed annually into renewable generation, grid reinforcement, storage, transmission, hydrogen, and next-generation nuclear (IEA 2025). In several major markets, annual energy transition investment now exceeds what entire national space programs once cost over a decade.

At the same time, the existing energy infrastucture conists of many aging assets, where 78GW of Europe's existing wind farms will have been running for more than 20 years by 2030.

Our mission

Building a circular future for renewable energy

Repowering existing wind parks and decommissioning old turbines in a responsible way, are the largest issues the wind industry faces today, with an exponential increase in the number of aging wind turbines coming offline year on year. ReWind began in 2021 with a mission to ensure that no more wind turbine blades end up in landfill, and to ensure the continued success and acceleration of wind farm development.

Wind is often seen as one of the greenest forms of energy and we are on a mission to keep it that way.
